What you as a buyer should look for and some advice for when buying a pre-owned vehicle. The list covers all models.
1. Are the tyres still original and if so, change them. 2. Check general condition. 3. Check leads.. 4. Cat converters for melting. 5. Cracks in rear fender around cooling vents near bumper. 6. Best to buy from a reputable dealer. 7. Have your mechanic inspect the vehicle and give a list of extra things you want checked. 8. Full history. 9. Service books and records are up to date. 10. Have a Lamborghini dealer do a pre-purchase inspection. 11. Check for regular oil changes (service book). 12. Make sure it hasn't done too many kilometres/miles. 13. Look for rust spots. 14. Check for overspray (paint) on parts of vehicle that isn't the paint colour (tyres, vents, rubbers etc). It will be easy to see. 15. Check VIN number to make sure you are buying what they say it is. 16. Get an accident report to see that it hasn't been in one.
